Traineeships, working students, internships – they all provide useful experience which helps to bridge the gap between school and work; or add skills to students’ CVs. Sivantos doesn’t have a one size fit all program for interns, trainees and working students. It varies from department to department and from country to country, so that it meets the needs of our diverse offices. Our interns gain insights in the industry and most importantly: a firsthand learning experience.

Here are some examples from around the world:

Brazil

This year, Brazil kicked off their trainee program and welcomed their 1st cohort in Sao Paulo. Six new positions have been created for two different tracks: one with a technical/quality control focus and one management program. Within these, trainees will be placed in Technical, Quality, Customer Care, Marketing, Sales and Legal areas.

Germany

There are two different options to work as a student for Sivantos Germany: working students and interns. While working students only work a few hours each week alongside their studies, interns usually work fulltime for 3 to 6 months. This practical semester is part of their college studies and enables them to obtain a full insight into working at Sivantos over a short period of time.

Singapore

Sivantos Singapore partners with local polytechnics, universities and international agencies to recruit interns who are interested in a career in the hearing aid industry. Students are assigned to Global Advanced Engineering, Quality, Research and Development, Sales and Marketing to learn on the job.
