Sivantos Germany invited nine future-to-be hearing care professionals to fine-tune their knowledge for their final exam later this year.

Next to the opportunity to practice possible exam situations under everyday conditions together with our experts and a guided tour through our laboratories in Erlangen, the apprentices also learnt more about our premium brand Signia’s products, and our fitting software Connexx, during the two-day training.

The final examination (Gesellenprüfung) is the basic prerequisite to become a master hearing care professional in Germany. The exam covers all aspects of the hearing care apprenticeship and is therefore divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Examinees need to master different tasks, for example, creating three-dimensional copies of outer ears or performing hearing screenings with test subjects, among others.
