End of August Sivantos Singapore held their annual Family Day. This year the Singapore Flyer was the place to be. Over 970 employees, most of whom brought their families, went to the event for a day of fun at Asia’s largest Giant Observation Wheel. Company events such as Family Days are important to Sivantos as they allow employees to socialize outside working hours and environment.

For a crowd of a whopping 2,600 people, the event venue was spread out between an outdoor theater just below the giant wheel, where events such as the puppet show, or stage games were held, and a sheltered area where game and food stalls were set up. The activity areas were packed with employees and families lined up at game stalls pitting their dart throwing or shooting skills, earning little prizes along the way. A huge tent was also set up to house two bouncing castles for the kids. Highlight of the day: Employees had the opportunity to experience the Singapore Flyer themselves.

The Family Day is a big event that employees look forward to each year as it is a good time to see everyone having fun and to meet each other’s families. For some, it was their first time to the Flyer since its inception 10 years ago.
