On July 5, Signia brand ambassador and Miss Deaf Asia 2018 Nishtha Dudeja inaugurated the 198th BestSound Center in India. The center, located in the city of Guwahati, will provide the latest in hearing and speech technology to those in northeast India.
The event was special for Miss Dudeja, who spent the first three years of her life in Guwahati. Despite suffering from severe hearing loss since birth, and against all odds, she has made a name for herself as a Paralympic tennis player and beauty pageant winner. Truly inspiring!
The 199th BestSound Center was inaugurated a day later in Kolkata, while the 200th is set to open on July 17 in the city of Pune.
