On July 11, Sivantos Netherlands closed its office for the whole day and all 30 colleagues went on a company outing to an elderly home near Rotterdam. “Giving back to society and fulfilling our social responsibility as a company was a great experience. We informed all our customers in advance about our reason for taking the day and we didn’t receive even one negative response,” said Sivantos B.V. Managing Director Richard Zoetemelk.

The team engaged in many activities with residents, including playing bingo, building a fence, painting a bench, taking walks and even doing some gardening. However, the most important thing for the employees was to give elderly residents their full attention. “The impact 30 people can make in one day made me really proud of our team,” Zoetemelk concluded.
